Experienced Service Technician

Mercedes Benz of Syracuse is currently looking for ONE technician to join our winning team. Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years working as a technician in any repair facility that services any make and model vehicle. Must have a NYS Inspectors' License, clean NYS Drivers' License, and own tools. This is not an apprenticeship position and must have proven experience.

  • Pay ranges from $22/hour Flat Rate to $45/hour Flat Rate based on experience
Service Technician Duties include:
  • Performing vehicle inspections
  • Performing routine maintenance
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Performing work per repair order to factory and dealership standards
  • Communicating effectively with Service Management and Advisors
  • Recommending services necessary for the vehicle's age and condition
  • Documenting all work performed
Service Technician Requirements:
  • German Brand Certification preferred, but will train an Experienced Import or ASE Certified Technician to become Certified
  • NYS Inspectors' license
  • Own tools
  • Clean NYS Drivers' License
  • Great Certification Program available for further development and training.
